Entertaining period of hockey. Flames don't have the starpower they had last season but still a big, imposing team that's hard to play against, thought the Rangers did a pretty good job.

Shoot for a rebound. Any shot is a good shot.over passing isn't the answer.Kid has to stop deferring so much.
Lafreniere was doing the things he does best. Stick handling in traffic and getting the puck across the ice and into the slot. Really pleased with that period from him
He couldn't lol.
He was angled off and had the goalie right there. Passing the puck was the right call as it could have connected, hit a skate and bounced in, etc. Throwing that puck on net would have had zero chance of going in.

It's all so tiresome
I'd rather see him pass up those shots and look for that pass, that tells me he's seeing the ice well. Better than forcing a low danger shot to the net.
