To answer the question...

Yea, I still think it can get worse.

I am almost relieved. Watching these last series of games has been torture . I will check the highlights for the remaining games but won't sit through them . Any good movie recommendations?

Titanic, it sums up the Bruins situation pretty accurately.

Pasta's early season flurry of goals and Rask's great play was only masking what a **** team this is. Time to start moving the dead wood and horrid contracts if possible.

Pastrnak and Rask were carrying the team for months and Chara-Carlo playing over their head and wearing down each night.

Rask fatigues.
Pastrnak dries up.
Chara - Carlo predictably (after three years in a row for Chara and everyone knowing how rookie defensemen wear out in year one) burning out equals a massive drop in the standings.

All of this in the worst draft in years.

Well, at least this stretch should temper Sweeney's desire to buy a the deadline. If anything, it makes it abundantly clear this is a year to sell.

Hischier looks like a real talent we could use.

They'll still probably pick up a third liner and an old third pairing defender. Then re-sign said defender over the summer. Rinse and repeat.

Someone observed earlier that Claude was wearing all black. If he's around for the next game, he'll probably have his coffin behind the bench.

It's time to move some of the players at the deadline. Get what you can start to rebuild.

Beers saying they ran into a hot goalie.

Let's spin the wheel of excuses

49th time this season. Has to be some kind of record, no? Plus, the compressed schedule was against them. They've played 4 games in 6 nights, in case you didn't know it...:naughty:

I'm actually surprised to hear it was Beers throwing out spin today. He's been pretty consistent calling it the way it went most of the time. If you had said it was Brick or Jack, I wouldn't even have batted an eyelash. Since it was Beers though, I have to assume the team spoke to them and said to lay off and not be critical. It's the only thing that makes sense.
