Totally, but I'd rather have seguin than Morrow and lost assets. Seguin would make this team a lot better right now imo.

I agree on ice he would help a lot but I don't think he would be accepted by his teammates as well as he he would be by the fans. They remover him partying in Toronto after a game and not getting back to the hotel til early hours of the morning. Also if he is so great why is Dallas worse than the Bruins, he should be carrying that team.

He was a kid.You talk to him.Let him mature some.Bruins lost big time there .By just trading him away it tells me Bruins were the ones being Immature.Jamie Benn raves what a great team mate he is. See if I can find the clip of it for proof. And by the way. If your still going to trade him at least get back fair value.Bruins were robbed on top of giving up on the kid over maturity issues

I for one do not care what people do on their time off as long as they produce.

Give me one Seguin who isn't the best of persons in the after work spotlight over a community type of guy that puts up 15 points 100 times out of 100.

Seguin is gone I get it, but stop trading away good players, what other team does this?

No one, Chicago keeps their stars and hires cheap players to fill the voids, the Bruins get rid of their stars and keeps the cheap players.

Lets see which business style works best, but we already know.

You pretty much nailed it for me

He's the only one of the bunch with his name on a cup as a player. There are lots more namrs you can cherry pick from, but no matter how great a player you are, you still need to surround yourself with good players.

Thanks for making my point.

You were saying that Dallas hasn't won a Cup with Seguin. That has nothing to do with whether or not they won that trade. If we go by that criteria then Don Sweeney has lost every trade he has made.
Which I don't think is true.

The cherrypicking is trying to put a team's accomplishment on 1 player.

Totally agree. Great Bruins players of the past like Esposito, Sanderson, Neely, Cashman and Bourque were teetotalers who all spent the evening watching Murder She Wrote and drinking chamomille.

I will bet Neely and Bourque never partied til six in the morning after a loss in the playoffs, the other guys, well you are going back in time when they had beer and smoked in the dressing roons, different times.

I take it you aren't old enough to remember Neely and didn't live in the Boston area when he played here, because if you did you wouldn't make that bet.

Embarrassing performance. We need wholesale changes. Heads need to roll and soon.

Wait, but seriously.

Do people actually think this team is going to make the playoffs? I am still thinking there are some delusional folks out there.

As I said, choose an amount you want to bet and shot me a PM pronto.

Kind of a side story on the two that I heard that doesn't have anything to really do with the conversation but I thought I would repeat it anyway: Back in their day, Neely was **** faced drunk and confronted Bourque over the team friendly deals he was signing, which he felt affected his salary because of the so called " Bourque Cap " and Neely thought Ray was being a company yes man instead of trying to help drive up salaries.
