I think how poorly he played last year left a bad taste in everyone's mouth. He's one of those players that seems to either be good or bad, not a lot of in between. I'd be fine bringing him back. Love that 3rd (?) line.

I'd want him back for one or two years at most. If he wants a 3+ contract I'd say no. We'll have to over pay some FAs next year to reach the cap floor, maybe he can be one.
