The forward group has to shoulder a lot of the blame for our defensive problems. They don't control the puck enough. Poor structure. Lindholm was mentioned a Bergy light? Not even close. The whole team is so off. Our center position is the worst in the league. No one close to a number 1 C. No high end #2 C. Pavel Z average #2 Coyle #3 and a low end #3 in Lindholm. Beecher can skate and take draws that’s it. I was hard on Pasta but wow 12 points in his last 5 games and is back on track.

Just tested positive for Covid so won't be going tonight

Still debating whether not being able to go is bad news or good news

The lack of team passion and give a damn attitude is affecting all of us

its been a long time since I have seen a Bruins team who are so putrid executing the most basic fundamentals of the game. Passing and positioning barf, all special teams garbage, zero commitment form forwards to helping D, missed assignments by all skaters...just fugly

5-2 Sens

I really don't know what to think. They are so fraglie now and loaded with injuries, they just might win 3-0. That's how crazy hockey is this year. Ottawa is a funny team also in that they looked horrible the other night vs NYR. I want them to win but the future doesn't get better for the Bruins unless they retool which means missing the playoffs. We shall see.

Lets go Bruins!

Can anyone even tell who the centers are here anymore? The coaching staff is obsessed with having the strong side forward take the draw. Works great when they win, lose the draw and now guys are scrambling out of position. They have 7 forwards with over 200 draws taken this year, not including Poitras who also has almost 70 in just 18 games. They may win more face-offs overall this way but winning the face-off isn't the be-all, end-all either. Not so much of a big deal in the offensive zone where forwards don't really have positions but in the defensive zone it hurts their structure when they lose one. Doesn't make the job of the D-men any easier either never knowing who is suppose to be supporting them down low defensively.

It also doesn't help that only 2 of the defenseman currently playing are capable of making a breakout pass

Lose the game and start putting an end to this pathetic season. I don't need to see this team go out with a whimper in 4-5 games.

It was a good run that went longer than many of the "experts" predicted, but it has to end at some point and this season is it.
Losing seasons can happen, players can have off years, but the whole team at once, that is f***n unbelievable, This team looks lost, I still think there is enough talent, but it needs help and maybe needs a jolt. One coach was fired, so lets not go there at this time, but that team last night, well represented the management team, blah, f***n blah. This management team just seems so uninspiring, and the team looks like it is honoring them, with similar effort. One thing I, find hard to understand, and say what you want about Neely, is he always had that fire to win, has he lost it.
