im in there tomorrow.. whats the parking situation like? is there any on street free parking? how much are garages?

No free parking and the street parking in general is very limited and filled near the stadium. Best bet is one of the garages within a block, they are usually 20 on game days I believe.

Can always take the metro in if you're coming from outside of DC, the Gallery Place stop is right under the stadium like MSG and parking at the Metro is free by that time of the day.

There are a few garages that are close, between $20-$30. No free street parking that I'm aware of--nothing in DC is free.

Metro is your best bet. How are you coming into town and where are you staying?

not staying, leaving my office in midtown at 2, driving down, then coming home

Who will be at the game? I'm going with a buddy of mine and a couple other people. We had a couple posters from HFNYR at Clyde's before the Game 2. Was a blast.
LGR!!!

I was there with my friend, where were you guys!?! We got there around 930. If you go to Clyde's ask what there special is for their growler. They had some beer I had not heard of (but it was very good) for like 11 for a growler. By the glass it was like 6.

Great place

I've driven to Verizon a couple times, always park in a garage on E St between 6th and 7th. There are probably like 10 garages in a five block radius, so you should be okay. Traffic in that part of town might be awful though, so be prepared to sit through multiple cycles at each light.

If you're accustomed to driving in Manhattan though, you'll be just fine.

I'm going bargain hunting... If I can't find a ticket for <45 ill prolly just watch it from home, but I work right by Verizon Center and get out at 5 today so that gives me a fair amount of time to make it happen.
