Even missing multiple stars we are pretty outclassed here by Boston. They are least seemed to be skating harder.
Hes a good communicator but that's all I gotA narrative that I do not understand is that Eakins in the right coach to develop the young players.
Zegras has improved under him, Lundestrom has improved under him, Drysdale has improved under him, Terry has improved dramatically under him.A narrative that I do not understand is that Eakins in the right coach to develop the young players.
Well he has helped develop several young players with tangible evidence.A narrative that I do not understand is that Eakins in the right coach to develop the young players.

I mean those were top prospects and their young people would hope they are getting better naturally as well... Terry just needed to get bigger and stronger. Who knows how much better or worse they would have been with anyone else coaching them. Could have been Eakins just saying... There's progression at that age regardless.Well he has helped develop several young players with tangible evidence.
Lots of caveats to insert. Too many of those and the original statement is worthless.I mean those were top prospects and their young people would hope they are getting better naturally as well... Terry just needed to get bigger and stronger.
I mean you could argue Drysdale hasn't developed much. I'll say he was more aggressive his first season. He's definitely learning from Fowler. I think Drysdale looked best with Fleury.Lots of caveats to insert. Too many of those and the original statement is worthless.
Sure, there are many ways development can go. But, there is no denying several young players have dramatically improved under Eakins. Whether people are willing to credit him as having a hand in that is up to them.I mean you could argue Drysdale hasn't developed much. I'll say he was more aggressive his first season.
Other than Terry and Lundestrom I’m not really impressed.I mean those were top prospects and their young people would hope they are getting better naturally as well... Oh he definitely had a hand in it. That doesnt change the fact I'd think they would be better off with an actual good NHL coach. The biggest thing we did for our youth last year was allow them to play big minutes and situations.Sure, there are many ways development can go.
