That's how it's pronounced, though. He's not Billy Bob Cool-y-kahv from Des Moines, Iowa. Is he annoying? Sure. But taking care to actually learn the players' names isn't a top-25 reason why.

Was he the guy that freaked out in OT because the Ducks still had 4 players on the ice after the Ducks' PP ended and Lindholm came out of the box? The other announcer did a great job softening the hockey faux pas.
