Every single game we've been right there with the caps. No need to continue this false narrative that gives the impression that we've been dominated or blown out every time.

I don't think that's true.

Aside from one game, where we dominated, the Caps have suffocated and outchanced us for most of the time 5-on-5, sometimes by a significant margin.

The Habs fight valiantly and they've been able to put some late pressure, but there has been little doubt who's the better team.

He is far more talented than Drouin. He is also an example of a player who was never hurt until he got to the NHL. If he came cheap it's worth a shot. Habs need a big 2c so he probably isn't a fit. But if he is the only centre available and he is relatively cheap they can always move him or dump him if he doesn't work out.

No he isn't.. not at all. Drouin went 3rd overall and is probably the most dynamic skills player we've seen in the QMJHL in quite some time.

And no he isn't worth a shot. He's small. egotistical. weak. perimeter. bad defensively.

I just want us to win tonight and lose at home if they are gonna lose , get a well deserved standing ovation for the boys they deserve it for the season even in defeat

Just send it back to MTL for a game 6 and I'm happy with either a win or loss as long as it's in MTL

No we don't have punishing forwards, when we dump the puck in and their d go get it we don't crush them into the boards. We give them a sweet little bump and be on our way. Our forwards don't play physical, if we keep both our 1st rounders I hope we get high energy physical forwards to change this weak core.

I disagree about domination. Caps got lucky in game 1, barely beat us game 2+4. I wouldn't argue that they have been better but the gap is smaller than you're saying

Zegras was one of the most skilled player in his draft. Drouin never did anything in the NHL. Zegras did until he got hurt. Zegras is not small. And there is very little to suggest there is anything wrong with his attitude. He may be a perimeter player and bad defensively. If Hughes attempts to get him then you know there is nothing wrong with his character and they feel he can become a more complete player.
Also have to consider that all his NHL coaohs have been incompetent

Zegras and Drouin are around the same size. Drouin also one of the most skilled in his draft. That doesn’t really mean anything. Both soft. Both had their character questioned. We should be focused on adding real impact players. If one thing this playoff series has shown our management, we’re going to need to add a lot more sandpaper throughout the line up if we want to win so we don’t need to dress players like Xhejak just for the purpose of making us a little tougher.
