So you don't believe in the rapid decline of Tavares? My opinion is he was bad last year. Like not as good as Spezza bad. And he's worse this year so far.

I do believe in that. I've been saying it since halfway through his second year here. But he isn't going to drop off completely.

Matthews didn't play a single preseason game, I would give him a pass.

Marner just plain sucks.

Matthews looked good in game 1 and terrible today. I don't think you can use conditioning as an excuse when he's had 3 days off. It looks like he just took the game off. It's maddening.
