The forward group is basically the same as last year minus Hyman. I know the general consensus is that "Hyman makes every line he plays on better" but him being gone doesn't deplete the goal scoring that much.

So you don't believe in the rapid decline of Tavares? My opinion is he was bad last year. Like not as good as Spezza bad. And he's worse this year so far.

It is really a pain to watch. The Leafs almost always bring pain and misery in my life ...

It's kind of therapeutic. I always worry about some small f*** up on some file or another at work. Seeing the Leafs fail spectacularly puts things into perspective.

Most people don't realize that even the best teams in the league only win ~60% of their games, and even though the Leafs have outplayed every team they've played so far, they aren't 4-0. It's a long season, it's so tiresome watching people scream the sky is falling every time we're losing.

Think the real issue here is they’re sleepwalking through the redemption tour of the redemption tour (2021 playoff meltdown vs Montreal) which was a redemption tour for the multi part failure season in 2020 which included the Babcock firing, EBUG night and Columbus bubble. Can this group stay intact if this is their personality?
