bit of bad luck on the scoring front. He's been excellent defensively in the playoffs though so as the kids say "ain't no thang"Penguins fan coming in peace.
What’s wrong with Skjei??
I know he’s not relied upon to put up points , but why does this dude only have 2 points???
Something gives
I was half paying attention but I think I heard the Canes were the only team to have won a playoff series each of the last 5 years. Or it that just way wrong?Okay, now I know Carolina is small market team but what is it going to take for this team to get some respect in the league?
I mean all these biased announcers talking about NJ, the Islanders, Toronto, Boston and what not. I get that they're bigger cities but this team has been to the playoffs five straight years, to the ECF twice (will be twice after a hopeful win tonight) and unlike in the past players want to come here.
Ex: Brent Burns. He had a no trade clause in his contract with San Jose, with the exception of several teams and we were NOT one of those teams but Waddel took a chance, called the Sharks and the Sharks called Burns agent and Burns agent spoke to Burns and Burns said 'yes, I'll go to Carolina.'
So, Burns sees the success this franchise is becoming. I mean, look at Buffalo, they're now the longest tenured NHL team to not make the playoffs.
Knowing that players on other teams want to come here when traded is saying something about this franchise.
I know we haven't won the cup since 2006 but making the playoffs 5 years in a row is saying something. I know we haven't made it past the 2nd round the last couple years (hopefully that changes this year) but it's giving something for the fans to cheer about knowing they'll getting playoff hockey every year.
Many teams in the league can't say that and they get more recognition than we do.

Thanks.. I wasnt sure if I got something wrong on that.I do believe that is correct. I can't remember what was said, but I heard that too. It's the first time in franchise history we've been five years in a row and won at least one series every year.
AMENHopefully the Canes can get to their game early. You know the Devils are going to bring everything they can tonight.
No wonder my coworker said cricket matches took foreverFancy a cup of tea, do you?
Fun fact: test cricket has tea breaks. A typical day's play is as follow's:
11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. - first session
1:00 p.m. to 1:40 p.m. - lunch break
1:40 p.m. to 3:40 p.m. - second session
3:40 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. - tea break
4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. - third session
So We get the worst announcers actually Albert isn't too bad..Sorry to be the bearer of bad news here, but he’s tagging the national broadcaster for the NHL on radio.
You can sync it up if you want. You can also do that with Mike and Tripp every game.
TNT is Albert, Olczyk and Sharp.
My passport photo (now nearly ten years old) looks like Burns other than the missing teethPlayoff “beard” for aho.
That is exactly what I would look like trying to grow facial hair, im 13 years older.
Yup. 3-1 is not some impossible mountain to climb. So hopefully we can close it out tonight. ::crosses fingers and toes::I'm a little nervous already because of the importance of this game.
