At this point, I don't think we finish the season with either Torts or PLD on the team. The question becomes "which ones goes first?"

Or Jarmo will just be a stubborn SOB and keep both of them around.

Holy shit, PLD benched the whole period?!?

THAT'S going to ignite the media after this game - who wants to take bets on how long (short?) Torts' after game presser is?
I'll start: 22 seconds.

I'm going 40 seconds only because with the zoom conference delay taking about 20 seconds to even get the questions off XD

Amazing watching Tampa move the puck. They almost never dump. Always entering the zone with speed and the scheme gives the entrant plenty of options outside of dumping.

You realize they iced the puck about ten times that period? Tampa didn't even play well, the Jackets were covering their usual breakouts.

I disagree ... CAN Torts and his boring prehistoric philosophies , try to salvage PLD . Skilled centers don’t grow on trees , PLDs effort was never an issue until whatever has happened . He was inconsistent yes , but not lazy
He’s already shown he’s a f***ing diva, if not for Torts, something else will disappoint him

not sure what Portzline is talking about. PLD's longest shift tonight so far is 1:05. Not extremely long. For example, Foudy had a shift in the first that lasted 1:40.
I believe he is saying he half assed his effort to get off the ice at the end of the shift. NBCSN broke down PLD"s final shift where he completely gave up on a forecheck with zero effort and then I only assume he took a nice evening stroll to get to the bench.

PLD has looked like crap all season, he deserves to sit for a bit.

Firing Torts is a hilarious idea. This team is terrible and a new coach won’t change anything. He’s in his last year of a deal and I doubt he’s going to get an extension. The season is over in 3 months, just play it out.

Effort was never an issue with PLD until Torts ran his fat mouth about PLD should man up and tell the team why he wants out , thru the media , on radio here in Columbus . Torts had to show his ego , which clearly should let everyone understand why PLD wants out . The fossil in Torts needs to be let go ASAP
