Kane clearly made quite a bit of contact and made no effort to avoid Mason. Seemed pretty obvious.

Johansen has been about the lone bright spot on this team so far. I'm very impressed with his improvement over last year.

Mason did go down but I think Kane did make some contact on Mason. Ref probably assumed it was Mason going down to make the save and not Kane running into him. Also, Mason/team didn't complain so I guess they had no issue. Usually when your interefered with and a goal is scored, goalies tend to skate right to the ref to argue.

I reran it several times-looked like mase kicked his leg out as he was going down. Contact made but Mase was equal in the why imo.

Hopefully Jackets have the gas to keep playing like that for rest of game.

Thought this period was a big improvement over any of the last six. I think the boys are starting to mesh a little better, though still a few irritating mistakes.

Also, this is the first game I've actually seen from the CBJ feed. Who is this annoying person giving the intermission stuff?

I got a really bad migraine the game where these two teams went into a never-ending shoot-out. Forget when it was--a few years ago. I stopped caring who won, but I had watched so much of the game already I wasn't going to stop until someone did.
