It feels like there isn’t a shot Walman doesn’t like. I’m all for having our defense being active on offense and getting shots on net, but it feels like Walman takes it to an extreme to where he’ll kill a play to take shot that realistically has no chance of going in. I’d like to see him read the play better and be more selective with his shooting.

I noticed he didn't hustle back on possible icing which resulted in almost a minute of dangerous sustained zone time for the Kings. That kind of stuff is inexcusable to me, especially as a guy whose spot is far from cemented.

He's got a good chance of losing his roster spot to Mikkola at first, and maybe Perunovich, eventually.
