Ugly game capped off with a beautiful performance by Poitras. Great goaltending yet again and the breakout game, scoring wise, by a kid that surely will be staying up with the Bs now. Hard work is paying off for him.

Carlo was the best d-man for the Bs. Jake honorable mention after Poitras when it comes to the forwards. Good response game from him after missing last game.

5-0. Let's beat the Chicago Bedards.

I wonder if this is Poitras first trip to California? I mean since he was Potsey on HD.

Started off slow, but we got the juices flowing. Potsy breaking through was awesome. You think he wants to stay here?He and Jake have great chemistry. Geekie too. Brando is a bull back there. Very impressed by him. Rest up. Heal up. Good f***ing win boys. Great 1st west coast trip!

Team got slower in the offseason but their puck movement seems to negate a lot of the negative effects that come with that.

But they also look a helluva lot bigger to me. More apt to win net-front battles in the offensive zone. Inflicting their will down low and forcing the puck into high danger areas seemingly much more effectively.

And of course, they are locked in defensively.

No way I deal Swayman or Ullmark now. I get the argument, but I think they make each other better and you won’t get the stellar play with one of them gone.

Five games in and I have zero complaints
