Yes because he is a landlord and makes a return on that money with rent. You must be a renter
He is not a landlord he is a billionaire landlord. The difference between him hiring a guy off the street for $15/hour and the highest paid coach in the NHL is the equivalent of you or I deciding between spending $13 and $15 options at the car wash. Completely trivial.

There’s going to be a point in time where some of you are going to have to choose a side. Either we have some bad scouts and our young guys aren’t nearly as talented as we think they are, or Verbeek made an incredibly bad decision in hiring a terrible coach. Maybe hiring proven retread coaches isn’t as a bad an idea as some people might think.

well someone in the know needs to audit the teams flu situation and unless it’s really bad there needs to be some heavy scrutiny laid on cronin
After last season, scrutiny should have been on Cronin by default. We're well past scrutiny. Unless this team is all sick, this level of ineptitude is inexcusable and it comes down to coaching. You can say what you want about what level of ability our players have, training camp and our practices are supposed to get this team to at least a higher level of execution in all three zones than they were last year and somehow, incredulously, they look even worse.

I think everyone is basically on the coaching wagon…. Everything wrong with the team is stuff the coaches tend to control

You underestimate how greedy some rich people are… he ain’t like Magic Johnson and the Dodgers ownership going for it every year. He’s that landlord that will raise your rent every year if he could to get every penny.
