Keep scratching Johnston. So that everytime he isn’t scratched y’all can shake your head

Zegras needs to get on the scoresheet, and multiple times. Should have at least 4 points now with how that top line has looked. He had a half open net last game on the PP set up by Leo and missed. His timing is definitely off.

Are we surprised by the fact that Frank the Tank has 4 goals in 4 games?

It’s annoying we are playing Boston after only scoring only one goal against Arizona. Boston is not going to make it any easier.

Is that directed at me?

I prefer Johnston in , in case Marchand or Lucic try something stupid. But in the 2nd game of a back to back, could see Cronin going back with Jones since he’s rested.

These are just probable lines but the actual lines.

We need toughness and he doesn’t hurt our Top 9 which needs to get on the scoresheet more.
Agreed. Going to be interesting once killorn and McGinn come back who the odd men out are. I think the 4th line has done well together. I think a lot of people will be surprised when it’s 3rd line players being scratched/waived

Silf should be scratched at this point over Jones or Johnston. We have enough pkers
When McGinn is back I agree. Sad, silf has always been one of my favorite players cuz he tries so hard. But his wheels are shot. And he is a Murray player, not PV player.

Groulx is a pretty worthless player to me.

I sure hope Gaucher is a lot better than that…
+1 he’s on the waiver bin when we’re all healthy.

they should really just “load manage” Silfverberg. I’m not sure why he’s playing in back-to-backs in 2023 with his injury history.

They’re talking about load managing the young guys, which I agree with, but they should be doing the same with worn out veterans like that

He’s playing back to backs cuz our Gm doesn’t care about over working a player he knows may be on his last days with the team. Unfortunately for silf, he didn’t do himself any favors handcuffing our organization by declaring he’s playing in Sweden after this season ( which would make him close to impossible to trade even if he had some sort of bounce back year )

The Ducks should be managing his load so that he can still move come February.

Then again, you can only load manage so many guys the same night. Have to put 12 forwards and 6 D on the ice

I don’t disagree with you, if our Gm sees silf as a player that will be with the team all season. Maybe our gm, thinks he’s a very possible odd player out when we’re all healthy. And if that’s the case, unfortunately like with an old car. You keep it until it breaks down of until you have better transportation options

When Killorn gets back he will knock someone out of the line up. He is an excellent PK’er and very good at ES.

Special teams is the reason they are only 1-3 on the season. But last game PP looked much better, Z just snake-bitten now.

I have a feeling vs Arizona…. Coaches told the top pp to stop being too fancy and shoot the puck…. And zegras ran with it.

prob a bit frustrated as that line and powerplay have been really dominant but don’t have a lot of production to show for it… none of them are what I’d call shooters/snipers. Could be a little rust from zegras coming to camp late or maybe him focusing so hard defensively and faceoffs that he forgot to put in shot reps… once he gets 1 I think he’ll start lighting it up

If only Jones had the brains of a player like Silf, you’d have a really nice player
Jones groulx Henrique and silf I think will be gone by next year.

I expect gaucher to win 4th c next year… and hoping a guy like perreault/regenda/nester take 1 of Henrique/silf spots. Then I hope we make a move for a winger that plays the style of game that Cronin wants us playing debrusk/Beauvillier / garland/betuzzi

It’s frustrating, more frustrating because the efforts are there, so it’s like what else do they have to do ?

That line at ES , along with the PP should have all had multi-point nights.
