It is nice to see Panarin play in traffic again. Feels like he hasn’t done it at all since the middle of his second year here, and as we can see, he’s so much better when he does. You can’t just be content to get the points. The best TAKE the points. When Bread plays this way - which I wasn’t sure he still could - he takes points beyond what’s simply available. I am very happy about it, just hope he can keep it up.

That was the big issue with Gallant.. he said a number of times he won't tell Panarin how to play. When you're developing bad habits you need someone to keep you in check. AP still has it

Not sure about the gag order on all things quasi political. It’s one thing to say squash the antifa and overtly political dialogue. It’s another to act as if Seattle hasn’t become THE most overrun homeless, drug plagued city in the country. It’s a very unfortunate thing, because it’s a great city in a beautiful region, but isn’t political to state facts. Cities have homeless. Seattle has hordes. It’s a genuinely overwhelming problem. It isn’t political to acknowledge that, and it shouldn’t be offensive to joke about it in a non-high stakes way like a GDT when we’re playing Seattle.
