Meh, Sabres didn’t generate a lot of offence but most were quality chances. The Skinner bashing is getting old. FTR I absolutely want another goalie going into the playoffs.

Save percentage is a pretty useless stat when looking at a single game, but it is even more ridiculous to apply it to single periods of hockey. There really is no need to go with such useless hot-takes. Why go there when you can write sensible criticism instead?

Skinner really should have stopped that puck. Buffalo also shouldn't have made it back into the zone in the first place. Two glaring mistakes on that goal, one by the goalie, one by the defense. There, not that hard.

Because Stauffer, Bowman, and/or Jackson have not come out and said Skinner is inadequate. He could let it in 12 tonight but so long as Baghdad Bob proclaimed he was the best option in goal, they would swallow it.
