I was reading that the Bruins are paying $45M or so for $92M of value, so it seems like if you (as GM) want to build a SC winner, you have to get guys to accept below market to free up cash for filling out the roster. It seems a team filled with quality $3-4M players across the top 6, $1M-2M for bottom six, etc is the way to go as opposed to a top heavy team like the Oilers.

There are many teams that are dangerously close to the cap.

We were def neutralized in that period. Though it was a decent period overall in terms of our effort. Kid line was fairly quiet there. The Knights were much better at puck management when the kids were out.

A weird game.

Knights were better in the first, we go up 2-0.

Rangers were better in the second. Lead cut to 1.

Refs had a rough period as well.

EDIT: We need a greasy goal early in the 3rd. Gotta crash the net and get one.
