This is his cup of coffee. I like the Rangers rewarding players who play well in Hartford.

If Cuylle plays well, im sure he will stay. They’ll just waive Blais. After Cuylle plays his AHL Allstar game, Im sure Rangers will decide to keep him up for more games. Hope he is not trade bait.

So far, good game from Cuylle. The one thing I can say about him so far... he's a better fit on the 4th line than Blais. So, I think that settles that. He's likely a better fit there than VK. But I think VK is the more effective overall player right now. Cuylle brings some size, some edge and a willingness to shoot. He's got the wheels for the NHL. I'm pleasantly surprised with how he's fit into the NHL. Does not seem overwhelmed at all.

He will be better than Lias Andersson who is still in the AHL years later. Surprised he didnt go back yet

Best part of that was just above league minimum.

I was reading that the Bruins are paying $45M or so for $92M of value, so it seems like if you (as GM) want to build a SC winner, you have to get guys to accept below market to free up cash for filling out the roster. It seems a team filled with quality $3-4M players across the top 6, $1M-2M for bottom six, etc is the way to go as opposed to a top heavy team like the Oilers.

LOL I love Gallant, favorite coach in the league. His team could be up 26-0 with 2 minutes left in the 3rd and he's still barking fiercely at someone. I doubt he's calm even when sleeping.
