Sorry, but I'm hoping for a loss. They need to start dropping. At the very least, Vancouver and SJ could pass us. Ottawa seems to be giving up, so that's not a good sign.

Ben better get some cheers man lol
i know we're known for the "Montreal Salute" when former players come back, but the fanbase is smart with it too, Chiarot didnt really ever slight us (he was just a bottom pairing D playing Top D situations lol)

but the added wrinkle of the unprotected Florida pick should really put the crowd in the "cheer" lane over the booing lane lol
Welcome back Ben! you good lookin sonovabitch!

Montreal is real good when it comes to paying tribute. Then they give it to them during the game.

We know Petry wanted to leave, but even he got an ovation when they paid tribute to him. After that, he was booed all game long.

Retro Jersey? Might be worth it to skip this game. Habs play great hockey then they wear the retros against Florida and get blown out. Weird.

You can almost predict Allen allowing 3 early. His game has regressed but MSL keeps anointing him the #1 and imo it is without merit.

I fully agree. Montembault has played much better than he has this season.

Why are you sorry ? Only ones that should be sorry are the so called Hab fans wanting us to win for some odd reason. I guess 30+ years of mediocrity was not enough for them though...

Have you ever sat down to watch a Habs game hoping they would lose or celebrating when the other team scores?

While I know the better draft position we get the better but being a die hard Habs fan since 1970 there is no way my DNA would ever allow me to hope they lose or cheer that they do. Maybe I am too old school.

I've done it for two seasons now. I did it a lot any time it looked like MB might be fired, too.

*raises hand*

I was pulling for the Bruins. THE BRUINS. That's how badly I want gamebreaking talent on this team.

I'm superstitious. I don't think bottom 2 gets Bedard after last place winning the lottery two drafts in a row. I think some team from 3-8 range gets Bedard. Call me crazy but I want lucky #7. I've said this for months now

Would be good karma if the Habs are actually not trying to loose games and end up getting Bedard with the 7th spot.

We will see if obsessive tanking actually ends up getting Bedard. And yes, I'm aware of the %'s

Same lol, I was happy when Kirby scored, but I didn't cheer. When the Bruins scored the 3rd goal, I was litterally telling my gf that we were about to go to OT, this team can't tank properly, etc., and then Bergy scored and I jumped lmfao, my gf asked me how I felt cheering for Boston. Ngl it made me think a bit, but anything for the tank baby

I admit it, I do too. It's what's best for the team long-term

I'm superstitious too and secretly have been thinking the same way. But also want to be as low as possible just in case we don't win. Same for Florida
