You complained about not trading Loui. I would have loved to have read your posts had they let Lucic play his final year and let him walk.

I would rather Lucic on one leg then Beleskey or Nash. Or Hayes  And Loui should been traded yes I said that from day 1.Let Loui walk for nothing and miss playoffs. No words for that.

Claude seemed pretty chill in post game interview.

Probably going home and saying to his wife: "Honey, I'm getting paid no matter what. When the offers come, and they will come, you want a big city, some place cold, some place warm, Canada, US?"

Lord knows he'll have more options than we will in terms of finding a better replacement.

Yeah, if I was him I'd be in that mindset. Clearly there's nothing I can do to get enough out of these guys. I'd be putting my affairs in order and looking to the next opportunity.

That game, man. Just not enough. Probably the worst thing Clode could put on tape, right now.

DS only really has two choices, accept another "retool year" and maybe his own (and Neelys) demise, or axe Clode, make some "right now" moves, and hope for a push.

I wouldn't bet against the latter.

I like them. Mine were different

63-37-72
39-46-88
51-42-27

Atleast put lines together that have a chance to score

63-37-72
39-46-42
51-28-88

Why not adds dept and Moore to me seems like twice the player Nash is so why not try him there

...oh, and I love the idea of Neely behind the bench for the rest of this season. If you're DS and Neely, if you're going to go down in flames, go down whipping them every single game and practice until they bleed...

I agree it isn't a great long term approach, but even with professional athletes fear can work short term...keep those skates pump'n until the final horn...

I feel our team D is better than last year. Dont fully understand people who think a top pairing D changes how many goals we cant ****ing score. Too many placeholders. We need offense for **** sakes. We've out played a ton of teams this year but cant find the twine when we need to.

They're going to get absolutely demolished on Sunday

Nah, they're going to put on a masterful defensive system clinic, outshoot the Pens 45-18, hit 3 posts, go 0/4 on the PP, and lose 1-0 off of a Krug shot that's blocked...leading to a Kessel break away and goal with 2:00 min left in the 3rd.

Coach.Painful to watch .Just a lack of talent in key areas.O well.Wait for our draft picks to shine.

I didn't watch. I assume by the shot totals that Bruins 'came out flying but couldn't find the back of the net', 'dominated most of the game' and 'the better team came up short' if I was to guess at the Brickley excuses.

It's not worth spending the time on until changes are made with the lineup. Either the team is boring to watch 9/10 games or they play their way into losses.

Reading this thread is a good way to get a summary and when they have gone 9 games without someone in the bottom six scoring it tells you all you need to know. Loved the other stat that 9 regulation wins and 3 are against Buffalo since November.

Reality hit for the Boston Bruins and the current team is failing and falling apart faster than the previous two years.

The real scare for Sweeney is that he was hoping to continue to develop prospects and pretend this was a playoff team then fire Julien at the end of the season to save his own job. Now he may need to fire Julien now and expose himself to a firing in April.

I think they need a top 2 D. Been 3 years now.

They really need a 1 and a 2.

Krug and Chara and Carlo are 3-4-5 guys these days. No particular order. They rotate most nights. None are top pairing. Maybe Chara if he has a 1 to play with.

Hope McAvoy is one answer and they can trade for a Trouba....Then this team will win.

Top pairing D men control the play more is why. They do not panic as fast and just whip pucks out off the glass. THEY can play pp too. ....P.S Milan Lucic just beat the face off Cody MacLeod

Hated seeing the Bruins lose this one so late just like the Minnesota game, also similar to game 6 in the finals against the Hawks. All said and done though this was a very entertaining game, B's had lots of chances, problem is we don't have too many guys that can finish outside of Pasta, Marchand and Vatrano. When players like Morrow and Nash are getting the chances they usually make the goalie look good.

As for the winning goal, I have to wonder what the heck McQuaid was doing with his back side facing the oncoming winger?

Claude may be fired and although I have never been a fan of his style, I think they should keep him until the end of the year. Maybe fire Sacco to send a message on a lesser level, but still. In the offseason get rid of Claude then and transfer Neely to a PR role and hire a real hockey person to be team president.
