SWEENEY sends his team to a gun fight packed with knives. WORST GM IN NHL

He's waiting on prospects and it's not a model that works. When they get here we will be a team that loses. And losing has a way of killing talent.

McAvoy will make or break his tenure here IMO

You could see it coming after the first period. 16 or 17 shots and no goals. Sweeney clearly built this team to play defense by holding onto the puck and not for scoring goals.

Also RIP Claude

I agree with you 100% .I had enough of him and Neely.Claude has no snipers no top pairing D men.Yet he gets blamed for lines. He has 2 or 3 steaks and a pile of baloney to put on 4 plates

And now, the end is near
And so I face the final curtain
My friend, I'll say it clear
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain
I've lived a life that's full
I traveled each and every highway
And more, much more than this, I did it myyyyyyy wayyyyyyyyyy

Bye Clode

I've felt like this for the better part of the last three seasons :(

Just not an entertaining product on most nights

Wasn't sold on last game being the final nail for Clode...tonight had more of that feel. Just can't get it done. Close...but not enough. A theme.

Watched the first period. Listened to the second and third, until Chicago scored. I've had a crappy week and getting aggravated over a hockey game isn't going to improve it. Going to bed hoping that Claude sticks around for the rest of the season. Night y'all.

It helps to have a bottom 6 that can score occasionally when you play good teams with high-end talent that can neutralize the top two lines. When the actual hell is the last time the third/fourth lines contributed offensively in any substantive way? I cannot remember the last time that happened. This roster has way too many non-factor players who contribute zero. Cannot win with that.

No one can tell me that for the last part is f the Period the Bruins weren't just trying to get it into OT.So who do you think is responsible for that?

Sweeney I'm sure signed Tim Schaller for the second line and Riley Nash for the 3rd.

Claude seemed pretty chill in post game interview.

Probably going home and saying to his wife: "Honey, I'm getting paid no matter what. When the offers come, and they will come, you want a big city, some place cold, some place warm, Canada, US?"

Lord knows he'll have more options than we will in terms of finding a better replacement.
