It's wasn't going in until it hit the back of LA's goalie.....and then it went back in the net,

original shot hit the crossbar and was coming out

Great response after the first few minutes.

Amen. The fact that it was guys like Johansen and Murray is what makes the future so bright.

Also, on a side note I would like to say how happy I am that every time carter touches the puck we boo him.

In my opinion, the only glaring weakness of the Jackets right now is their PK. If the Jackets can minimize the number of penalties they commit, they can be a pretty dominant team.

Is Rimer's new obsession telling us every big play is "the one we'll see on Fox Sports One?"

Not to pick on Rimer, but he gave a stat saying the Jackets were 2nd in the east in aver. goals/game, only behind Pittsburgh. Actually we're 4th. Pittsburgh is at 3.12 followed by Tampa with 2.82, then Ottawa at 2.80 and then the Jackets at 2.79

Maybe with 2 goals in the 1st the bypassed Tampa and Ottawa?

I think our tendency to take too many penalties is a big problem too. An extra couple penalties per game is a bigger problem, actually, then moving a penalty kill from average to terrible. That's what I'd be cracking the whip on if I was coach.

I loved that period. Dubi came out about 7 or so minutes into the game and started hammering Kings left and right. From then on we dominated.

Side note about Fox broadcasting. I'm watching the Fox Sports West feed and I really like the Kings announcers and analysts. Very fair and knowledgeable. Also lots of blue jackets tidbits sprinkled in between Kings news and notes.
