Igor is in a slump, just last season he was the best goalie of the playoffs. He’s been elite for a large enough sample size to earn the benefit of the doubt, and he’ll go on to have a Vasi like career if we move on from him. This is what our team looks like with shit goaltending and shows how much he covered the warts of the worst constructed, slowest, stone aged team in the NHL.

Hysterical that you defend this bum. A slump is not a sub 0.900 goalie for the enteriety of the season. He's a cancer to this team. Not a slump. He's Georgiev with a better personality. So I don't hate him quite as much. But he's a bigger headcase because he's MUCH more talented than Georgiev. He just has an AHL level mental makeup.

We need a lot of call ups and inject some youth and urgency into the country club core. Without cap restrictions or players and their huge contracts, this is exactly what should happen, but it won't.

This would be a giant mistake. There is no one at Hartford that's going to help this team and there's a chance that we'll painfully harm the development of promising young guys like Sykora and Othmann.

Only guy that should be called up right now is Domingue.
