Their size is really helping. Dach's play on that second goal is why he needs PP1 time over Slaf.
Yuraj does not instinctively know how to screen goaltenders. Kirby grew up using that play.

Slaf's position on the PP and where he controls the play is the right half wall, don't know why people want him to screen the goalie. And no, Dach shouldn't have time over him.

I am at this game right now and I can tell you that Matheson has sucked all night. Boys are not focused at all...passes to nowhere..soft shots...tons of giveaways....hopefully they turned it up a notch in the 3rd. Also Monty on the 3rd goal or 4th I can't recall was brutal.... these games aren't cheap..got the family here...need a close game at least...lol $$$$$$$$

Why is this team so physically tame tonight?

I mean it's their 6th game in 10 days, and 4th in 6th. They have no legs.

They have a brutal schedule this month, which is why a lot of people predicted they were going to completely crash this month, especially when we started playing well in December.

It was just wait for January. The fact they improved in the standings this month is freaking amazing.

Detroit has been playing a lot, too. They've been playing every other day, but no back-to-backs and they had a 4 game homestand.

Because we need goals from other positions on the ice other than from Laine's office. Detroit is closing that play down. It's not rocket science it's basic hockey and some players are just better at it than others.
