the typical Habs fan is super emotional. every loss is the end of the world

This game is one of the first games in a long time that I've been feeling myself get genuinely upset. I had to stop and remind myself it's not that serious. Start to get more emotionally invested when the team is playing well and you place real expectations on them

I mean it's their 6th game in 10 days, and 4th in 6th. They have no legs.

They have a brutal schedule this month, which is why a lot of people predicted they were going to completely crash this month, especially when we started playing well in December.

It was just wait for January. The fact they improved in the standings this month is freaking amazing.

Detroit has been playing a lot, too. They've been playing every other day, but no back-to-backs and they had a 4 game homestand.

The game isn't great, but listening to Mudryk and Corrado is complete torture. They tell never-ending stories that aren't relevant to anything, and then they jump back into the game, only to tell another story in 30 seconds.

Just saw the replay of the Larkin goal on the PP. I was distracted by Montambaults bad goaltending and didn't notice Matheson's slide to no man's land. That might have been the ugliest defending on the PK I've ever seen Sheeshh
