Agree, Pete.... I would admit he made some big saves but a sub-.900 save percentage does not equate to a first star

Bob surprised me again how good he can be at times. I was afraid during that shooutout, the guy is so poised. No doubt we would of lost if McBackup played tonight. Props to Coach Richards.
A player like him, but I don't think Gaborik is the answer. I think he should be traded.
Just saw it. Puck deflected off the net (it was WAY up the net and not even close), bounced back off the LAK goalie, and then went in the net. I mean, it wasn't even close and the refs missed it. Then, to make it even worse, it isn't a reviewable play. Why is that not reviewable, I don't know.
Yeah, I think having a guy like Foligno is good, but you need a skilled guy with him. If you could have a guy like Foligno, who is also skilled, that would be nice.
I don't know how you can watch Foligno and not think he's skilled. Almost every shift he's making plays that others can't make.

Anyone else think Arty's defensive game is slipping a bit? Just in the third he let a defenceman walk around him at the point, and before that was slow getting back which led to a 3 on 2 against. Does he need some Tortorella style love?
Which is why I said he is fine, but we need another skilled player with Johansen. We need someone who can score and finish when Johansen makes a great play/pass.

The puck was deflected and hit 25 feet high off the screen behind the goaltender
Came back in play bounced off the Kings goaltender's back and into the net.
2 refs and 2 linesman and none of them seen it
all 4 of them should be suspended....it was a bad of officiating as you will ever see

Arty's just not the same player this season. I wonder if he's nursing a nagging injury?
We have that player, his name is Nathan Horton. But when you want three scoring lines some guys are going to have to play higher than they otherwise would in the lineup, and that's why Umberger is still up there. That or Coach Richards is just nuts.

Gutted it out on the road on a back to back. Don't give me B-lo's bad. One, they've been better lately and two, the Jackets are still not to the point where games are "should-wins."

I agree. If he had even an average shot thirty goals would be easy for him. I don't know what's up with his shot. Most guys in high school can get stronger shots with a little work. Sometimes some muscles just lag behind, maybe?
