Actually wondering - how often do GMs get fired mid-season? Feels like if they have any intention in canning them they should definitely do it before the deadline so the new guys can make some moves toward building the team they want.

I think Sweneely have much more leash than that though.

Anyone remember when, I think it was Burns’ last year coaching the Bruins, when Joe Murphy didn’t want to go on the ice? McSorley was yelling at him on the bench and Baumngartner was going to fight Murphy in the dressing room……….

This feels like that. Not that I think there are fights in the dressing room, but back then everything was just bad. Bad. This is how we look now, just bad.

More reason to sell and get all we can in draft choice and prospects. This team is one and done if they do make the playoffs and who wants that?
