Blackwell is fine. There’s nothing against Blackwell. But the team isn’t making the playoffs and doesn’t gain anything substantial by giving 28 year old Blackwell more minutes. They could by trying some of the kids up there with Panarin.

It simply cannot be that every time there are penalties in a game we lose our structure/flow and everything. We cannot have a situation where in bascially a meaningless game the vets are overused and tired and the kids are barely out there and then struggle once they do hit the ice.

Laviolette is considered a good coach by some because he won a Cup 16 years ago and is on his 5th team. Conventional wisdom is weird.

Hey, just because Chytil had the helper on the only goal and also pinged one off the post after a gorgeous move doesn't mean he should play more than guys who have done f*** all this game. That's crazy talk in Quinn-town. Chytil can play more minutes than Kravtsov. That's it.
