I don't really have much confidence in the team right now, I doubt they can just flip the switch once the playoff starts. Oh well, nothing to do but to hope for the best.

Haha, he might as well have been hitting the snooze button on the bench. Most of the team has been in sleep mode of late.

But of course, we still have a chance to finish ahead of SJ, though, with a win on Saturday regardless of tonight's result of the Phoenix-SJ game.

If SJ wins tonight, then the Kings win vs. San Jose needs to be in regulation to finish ahead of them. A 3 point game would give San Jose a 1 point lead over the Kings.

Dude. Come on. Forgot last season already?

Me too. They've had stretches lately where they look downright awful, lottery team awful.

And Kopitar has enraged me with his play lately. He looks like Alexander Froloaf out there. Pull your head out of your ****in ass...

And last year we had way more momentum going in to the playoffs and a much better record....

There is a difference between playing poorly (Randy Jones 2010, Jarret Stoll 2012) and looking like you just don't give a crap. Tonight Kopitar and Richards looked like they didn't give a crap about playing hockey, it was an embarrassing performance by two veteran team leaders.

Kopitar in particular has been MIA for awhile, especially ES.

Que the twilight zone music.

No idea how these poor efforts are getting past Sutter.

Maybe Sutter is cutting them extra slack cause of the ridiculous schedule.

The Kings couldn't win a faceoff. No line combination they had would've made a difference tonight.

The Wings are already a quicker team than the Kings, but you add the faceoff problem, and the Kings playing on back to back nights, and the Kings were chasing and reaching for the puck all night. Not that that's all that different from most games the Kings play against Detroit, especially in Detroit.

Stoll has been the best Center for about two weeks now....

That is a little scary.

No the Kings didn't

They were 3-2-5 to end the season. The last two games against SJ were also piss poor efforts.

Maximum points for St Louis is 60
Maximum points fort he Kings is 59
Maximum points for Minny is 57

**** do we have the tiebreaker against Minny? If not we could possibly drop to 7th and have to play the Ducks in the first round with a regulation loss against SJ on Saturday. LOL

Kings have the ROW tiebreaker against all of those teams.
