Well, if that’s the case…. that’s a great recipe for getting eliminated in the first round again.I think the thing is, this team knows they aren't really playing for anything right now. They are facing Tampa round 1, and holding home ice consistently the whole time. I think they are just going through the motions until playoffs
And??????My wife and I have been approached a few times walking downtown Montreal over the years when visiting just letting us know couples are welcome also![]()
Going to OT and then it is impossible to lose to the Habs 3 on 3Leafs win this one by multiple goals, no?
That series loss was worse than all the other terrible disappointments I've ever experienced being a fan of this teamOmg exactly how I was feeling..that 3-1 collapse against the habs hurt more than ANY other series to date…this team has no killer instinct and I’m not sure what will change this year, we’ll see I guess
You said you can't expect the players to develop a killer instinct when the org is to soft to get rid of Simmonds. That is dumb.
Would have been sweet if JT dressed tonightCore 4 can easily come and win this
Let’s see if they do it
Jesus is that place still alive? Free buffet lunch way back in time. Ah misspent youth! And a trip to Super Sexe![]()
Now we're getting Sid commercials... for f*** sakes. A guy who never played sports and doesn't know anything about sports... talking about sports.
Yup and this is why I cannot get emotionally invested in them. Because we have been saying this about this team for years now. That period spoke volumes about, and showed what a lack of a, killer instinct this group has.
Curb stomp a team in the first period.
So your options for period two are, "finish them", OR, "arrogantly expect them to roll over and die like you would".
f***ing hate this group for having that kind of attitude. All they had to do was match the other teams effort level.
Sammy gives them a chance to walk away with the win. Fckng pathetic.
I agree. That should not matter tonight. We should be beating this Habs team regardless of who our 12th forward is.If you are irrelevent, it doesn't matter how tough you were. He can't skate, that makes him irrelevant in today's game unfortunately
You need tough who can play, not just play 3 minutes for a fight
That's an wasted spot for someone like Steeves
And she decided we should keep walkingThis group never learns what it takes to compete
And??????
Home ice for round one is far from locked upI think the thing is, this team knows they aren't really playing for anything right now. They are facing Tampa round 1, and holding home ice consistently the whole time. I think they are just going through the motions until playoffs
The problem and why fans get irritated and impatient with this team is because at this point after 6 years of playoff failure we are looking for ‘habits’ that will translate and show us this year will be different. They may very well may come back and play great in period 3, but they cannot let a habs team that they are significantly better than to come back and dominate them with their best player out at that!it's 2 all, relax, we can still pull it out
