Other than the dynamic duo I don't see the D being bad tonight. To listen to some of you guys the Jackets should win 82 games without giving up a goal. The other team makes plays, they score.

Bob again misplayed a shot from 10 miles away that hit the post.

Again with all the *****ing. As most of you know I'm not the most positive guy around here but JF Hartnell if you can't see improvement and the future in the young guys then I don't know. Are we a better team than we were? I think so. Are we going to win every game? No.

Its amazing to me that during the day no one wants to trade anyone except the 2 bozo d-men and the two guys who aren't playing tonight yet during the game everybody sucks.

Watch the game. Defense and goaltending are atrocious. You think Hartnell is gonna fix this?

I think Torts has a history of trying to make losing someone's fault (certainly never his though) and not about figuring out how to motivate the team. Benching your best scorer for the sake of "sending a message" only works if that person is truly the reason the team is losing and needs a wakeup call.

He scratched him (again) on the heels of Hartnell openly apologizing for his gaff and owning it. I don't see how that is going to help anything since Hartnell already spelled it out himself. Scoring wins games. Maybe this game was lost thanks to other mistakes but it puts the team down a bullet in the gun from the start and that gets in the team's head too.

I guess you like Torts and his crazy dramatic style. I don't.

I think a lot of people, myself included are venting. It's been a long 15 years. It's not just about tonight, this set of players or this coach. It's about the past 15 years plus tonight, these players and this coach.

Sounds like you're reacting more to Torts' rep than anything else. He hasn't been that dramatic here. He's been straightforward with the guys.

Benching Hartnell for putting himself above the team is just basic accountability. It's what any organization needs.

We look like the worst team in the league tonight! ... Oh yeah....

The Jackets are outchancing the best team in the league through two periods. I'm not sure if that stat is really representative of the balance of the game, but either way we don't look that bad. It's just Bob and Dumb & Dumber tonight.

Torts has taken the blame many times after games for his mistakes. Again, this is a case of an outsider using the past to try to explain the present, without watching the games or understanding the state of the team.

There is nothing "crazy" or "dramatic" about his time in Columbus so far.
