We have had a good year in the standings. We have not had a good year when you look at the actual games being played. We get exposed nearly every game but have found ways to win, mostly because of Shesterkin.

Continuing to play Hajek & McKegg is pretty indefensible at this stage of the game, even with the injuries. What do they do well on a consistent basis?

It's crazy how good the Panthers are at transitioning quickly and getting all 3 forwards working together at the blueline to create a quick shot, utilizing an east/west pass in stride at speed where required.

Every player on their team is focused on 1. attacking the zone with speed and 2. getting in position to shoot as soon as is reasonable.

NYR are just miles away from being able to do this.

I agree to a point, although it's probably expected to see negativity in a GDT where we are being comprehensibly outplayed, and it matches how we've looked for the past few weeks.
I think the other issue is that the team is actually almost in limbo at this point and we don't what direction it's heading in, so we can't see where to find positives. Are we turning this team over to the youth, who thus far have been underwhelming? Are we going to load up at the deadline and use our vets to make a Cinderella run? Are we re-signing guys like Strome and continuing along a course that doesn't really look great right now?
When the team isn't playing well and the fans struggle to see what's coming, negativity/doubt (to an extent) is bound to exist
