Bouch showed intensity in the playoffs at least. Nuge was perfectly rested all last run and was a ghost almost the entire time, especially 5v5.

The difference is a legendary veteran that'll beat Greatzky's goal scoring record that won a cup in 2018. Combined with a couple other cup core players and a nice blend of fresh players that play great. You mix that with awesome goaltending, they have a legit chance.

Vancouver will never sniff that. Lol

The trend is that these teams go to the tough areas more, cause chaos, take screened shots more, etc. They don't shoot from bad spots a lot. You need good goaltending to do this b/c you also do not generate a ton.

Can't say I agree with this. The Nucks lineup was and still is composed of a bunch of bozos that were getting career best shooting % and frankly several of them hanging around legend pdo 20% shooting percentage. The Caps are good on the ice and on paper. They added fairly astutely to their lineup and we're seeing the results.
