Hey, the BRUINS have been a PO team 8 of the last 9 years, I believe. All good things must end and it was their turn.
There have been many worse teams during that period that we didn't have to suffer thru. We've been spoiled.

All today did was reinforce what we all should have known for two months….they are a bubble team.

They’re going to have games that make you think they’re really good, others that make you think they’re bad and a whole bunch in the middle.

Aside from Florida (who is far from perfect) and Washington who is doing it with smoke and mirrors, there are about 9 teams who are pretty much equally flawed, but are going to be fighting for a playoff spot.

Maybe the B’s sneak in….maybe they don’t.

All I want is for whatever deals they make to be with an eye toward the future and not an attempt to make their chances at a cup go from 3% to 3.75%.

Sure they could make playoffs but nobody will be racing to Vegas to drop bets on it .The real question is how long Sweeney thinks he can wait and what the hell is his plan.

Don't disagree, things don't look good for a playoff run this year if they happen to make it.

But I'm just talking about the people being sure this team will not make it. None of the teams going for the 2 WC spots will have anyone racing to place bets.

Want the Bruin's to sell, rebuild, retool, etc., whatever, but as far as the playoffs go this year, a lot of crap teams going for those 2 spots. Things change quickly in the middle, lots of games left, they still have the talent to squeak in when you look at every team going for it.
