Disagree giving up over 40 shots a game isn’t getting them in the playoffs and yes every point is going to matter from hear on out ,if they miss the playoffs bye a point we will be thinking back to this blown game.
If Ottawa doesn't make the playoffs, what would it matter? Any close game they lost you can consider a missed chance.

There is 6/7 teams in the race after 2 spots with lots of games left. And each team has flaws. Predict it for me, please.

So, we left for dinner after the second period, and I could see the game in the bar. I saw them go up two with about four or five minutes left and I told my wife the score, and she said that it was over. So, if you’re looking for someone to blame! 😡

Was Kastelic out there with the 2-goal lead, with the net empty, to get his Gordie Howe Hat Trick?

Was Pasta out there with a 1-goal lead to get a cheap point to boast his confidence?

Not exactly the players most would want out there protecting a lead, Mr. Sacco.

Who was worse, Lindholm or Coyle? Or Marchand (didn't play in OT)? Or Carlo? Or Wotherspoon? Or.... I'm going with The Captain.

Which line was worse, Marchand-Lindholm-Lettieri or Frederic-Poitras-Coyle?

This puppy is going right to the end of season to get into the wildcard. My gut says we getting in.

Sure they could make playoffs but nobody will be racing to Vegas to drop bets on it .The real question is how long Sweeney thinks he can wait and what the hell is his plan.

Sadly, I’m sure that’s exactly how Jacobs feels. 10 years and they’ve made it past the second round once, and even that was only due to Tampa blowing it against the Blue Jackets in round 1. Chiarelli was more successful and his tenure lasted less time. I can’t see Neely firing his buddy (or Jacobs getting rid of both), but one can hope
If they don’t play the Leafs in round one they most likely never move onto round 2. They’ve been blessed to catch the chokers from GTA so often. The Leafs have been job security for Sweeney & Neely

Yup, Ottawa and Columbus with 2 games in hand each on the Bruins both pass them and knock them to 9th. If Montreal wins tonight, the Boston Bruins will be in 10th in the East at the end of tonight with three teams tied with them that all have 2 games in hand.
If this was a movie, DS would hire Billy Bob Thornton as head coach and the team would sweep right into the PO's and win the SC.
Unfortunately, Billy Bob would be fired soon after for beating up DS, who had accused him of being an alcoholic. He was a bad Santa, but a very good hockey coach.

Whatever if you can take positives from a 2 goal blown lead

Was Marchand hurt 3-3 is kind of his thing
