Buch should be trade bait regardless. Kreider’s contract was a mistake. Buch is best suited as a key piece for a young C. I like Buch, but I think he’s going to demand way more than he’s worth.

Players quitting on Quinn is a delusional take. Players quit themselves. No one maybe for Smith stepped up and tried to put the team on his back. No one said let's do this for Tuba. Kreider invisible. Panarin, bless him, but he's too finesse for these types of games. Strome invisible. Mika had some flashes but Buch, nowhere. Kids still too raw.

The team simultaneously all laid an egg, and somehow hatched from those same eggs. Weird situation, hard to explain how that is possible. Watch the first season for True Detective for some clues. Crap game, though.
Next year we are all a year older, and the other 8 teams ahead of us a year older too in the wrong way. Maybe we sneak in!
