I just don't understand the coaching staff this season. McNabb is healthy now, there is no reason to continue to have the Minus Brothers together in Muzzin-Martinez
 
As cruel said, this team is chalk full of grinders and very few with the talent to score. I can't stress how boring the game becomes once Carter goes off the ice.

And for the love of god, kopi needs to ducking drive the net once in a while instead of taking a stroll around the back of the net and all the way back out to the blue line.

So sick of seeing all 3 forwards along the boards. It's amazing they score as much as they do and don't lead the league in getting shutout.

And where has that gotten the team? Lol sorry he criticized your idol but it's true. Sutter's obsession with these talentless players is going to keep us out of the playoffs this year.

Honestly what do Clifford, Nolan, and King bring to the team anymore? The only thing I can think of are bad offensive zone penalties

Kopi getting paid 8.4 Million than Cliffy and has a grand total of 1 more goal! Wow! What an All-Star!

**** at this point guys like Nolan, Cliffy, and King have out performed Kopitar, Gaborik, etc. Our "star players" have been useless all season outside of Carter.
 
D not playing smart. On the first goal they were ready to whistle it down for a hand pass. Then Doughty decides to touch it deep in the Kings zone. 10 seconds later Burns scores. Just dumb

He certainly needs to perform better, but at least he earned that contract by leading the team in scoring every season (until this season).

I just don't get how Lombardi decided Kyle Clifford was worth $1.6M. This team is in cap hell thanks to decisions like that. He sure loves overpaying for stiffs like him and Matt Greene.

This team has it's hands tied because of some terrible asset management and they're slowly playing their way out of a playoff spot, just as they played their way out of a division title the season prior.

Alas, that is what Kings hockey is all about, building up hope but finding ways to disappoint (with the exceptions being 2012 and 2014). I wasn't as down when this team went out in 2013 to a far superior Chicago team. That team went as far as it could and got back on its horse in 2014.

This year is a continuation of the whimper this team went out with in 2015 when they failed to qualify and in 2016 when they got slapped around easily by the Sharks. Just look at the way they are losing games this season. Barely have I seen them ante up the intensity or pick up the pace in order to draw even. This team used to be the Kings of comebacks. That's in the past now though. This Kings team is now full of pacifists.
