the sharks are technically playing hockey, yes, but not in a way that is good compared to their competitors.
Well, first of all I'd like to thank the Academy. . .SNOG announcement
SNOG achieved
That puts weastern bias even further into the lead with 5 SNOGs.
Still no tables.

By technically do you mean wearing skates and holding sticksthe sharks are technically playing hockey, yes, but not in a way that is good compared to their competitors.
Coaching is a much bigger problem. A big part of success is finding contributions from young or limited players, and Warso is atrocious at it.21st game where the Sharks have
Just don't have the requisite talent. Top 4 pick will help, but still need load up on picks and prospects as the core is still so young and so much more is needed especially on the defensive end.
Smith was benched after bonehead play couldn't clear the puck out of the zone lead to wild almost score on Askorov.Fun game, too bad Fleury decided to be Hasek. That new top line looked great - please don't separate Eklund and Celebrini if possible. Second line doesn't work, but I would want to see Smith up there with Granlund and Zetterlund to see how that works out with Kovalenko-Wennberg-Graf as the 3rd line. I thought Ferraro had a terrible game (pre-Liljegren level bad), and it was nice to see Walman back (definitely have missed him). Askarov looked great again.
TL;dr: fun game to watch, good for the Schaefer quest. Onto the next one.
Yeah, maybe Zetterlund would work better with 72-71. I would put Graf with Wennberg/Toffoli then and Kovelanko as the F1 with Granlund/Smith.Smith was benched after bonehead play couldn't clear the puck out of the zone lead to wild almost score on Askorov.
Eklund and Celebrini and someone fast. Toffoli is too slow.
1.Eklund-Celebrini-Graf
2. Kunin-Granlund-Zetterlund
3.Wennberg-Toffoli--Kovalenko
4.Grunstrum-Goodrow-Sturm
Smith should have 3 games (Development Day). He just not making smart play.
Was that the same sequence where Goodrow made a terrible and boneheaded play that led to the Sharks getting pinned in their own zone in the first place? Hard to remember; there were a few.Smith was benched after bonehead play couldn't clear the puck out of the zone lead to wild almost score on Askorov.

I think he was benched. Didn't see anyone look injured or anythingWhat's with the suicidal thoughts? We played a pretty solid game. Massively outshot them, two bad turnovers lead to two goals against. Celebrini looked like his old self with Eklund. Keep them together.
I was watching without sound so I'm not sure if Smith got benched or injured, but hope he's ok.

I swear, watching the game without being influenced by certain posters' narratives, you come away with a completely different take on this performance, even if an L is an L.What's with the suicidal thoughts? So what did you see that's different? Sounds like Beanie did well with NHL talent and AHL Smith got benched. Sounds like Walman coming back was huge as expected.I swear, watching the game without being influenced by certain posters' narratives, you come away with a completely different take on this performance, even if an L is an L.
Having Walman back is a game-changer for this team. Seriously, as amazing as Celebrini has been, Walman might actually be the team's MVP so far this season.
Basically, the Sharks dominated the game and on a typical night would've scored a couple more and won.So what did you see that's different? Sounds like Beanie did well with NHL talent and AHL Smith got benched.
The execution wasn't all there, but I thought this was the best Granlund has looked since that injury, at least in terms of skating and, I don't know, zip or something. So at least that's promising.Team played a pretty good game, Celly and Eklund looked great together. AHL Granlund needs to play better, when he’s going, the team has a couple dangerous lines but he’s been horrendous since his injury, gotta wonder how healthy he truly is.
Kovalenko-Granlund-Smith was something I was begging for since we got him. Makes a ton of sense logically but who knows...Yeah, maybe Zetterlund would work better with 72-71. I would put Graf with Wennberg/Toffoli then and Kovelanko as the F1 with Granlund/Smith.
