It's very surreal. When Hank started his pro career, I was a teenager. Now, I'm in my mid 30s.

Been watching the same guy play and be amazing nearly half my life. The only thing softening the blow is the fact that Shesterkin is practically just as good. Could you imagine how much harder this would be if we didn't have him?

Still, there is an intangible aspect to Hank that no one will ever replace. The dude was larger than life and a unique class act that no one else could ever top.

Henrik Lundqvist should have won the Vezina Trophy twice. I always felt they gave it to Sergei Bobrovsky because he was playing for a small market team. They should have given to the both of them.
