Just like Krav is playing hockey on a different plane never yet reached by the rest of the league, I think Ed similarly votes for player of the game in the same 4d chess level. Must be why he likes him so much. Ed definitely only votes for Krav and doesn't use the other 2 votes to help the Krav percentage.

It’s 100% IDGAF Syndrome. He got paid. He got renown as an MVP candidate. He plays fundamentally selfish, lazy hockey and makes himself into a nightly liability. He “neutralizes” it by being talented enough to contribute enough points that it roughly offsets, but he could be a tremendous net positive if he gave a half a f***. And since he doesn’t, he’s supremely unlikable.

FWIW -- I don't think this is a good 4th line against better teams. I think when CK comes back, the fourth line will get one of the top 9 forwards coming down.
