They have 1 gear. Look great early but when teams turn it up they can't.

Thornton was advertised as this big experienced leader with meanness etc. Galchenyuk was getting crosschecked multiple times by Pearson after the whistle and he just skated by. It’s no wonder the Sharks got their lunch stolen by the Kings and Ducks virtually every year.

I don’t get activating the D ... seems like the only goals we allow are from continuous mistakes from activating the Defense, creating odd man rushes against. How about the leafs focus on preventing chances against as much as possible and hope their top end skill is the difference.
