I would never go that far. Some refs are bad but McGeough and Fraser were ****ing full on Pejorative Slurs.

I feel like the NHL needs to recruit ex players to become refs. It's a problem in MMA with their judging and reffing and the suggestion there has been bring in ex fighters. I fully believe having ex players ref would do wonders for the game.
 
I gotta say that was fantastic camera work just now on that extended battle in the corner. It used to be impossible to see what was happening in situations like that on TV. Thank you, technology!

That's actually a great idea, don't know why the NHL wouldn't try this.

You know how people claim the NHL is biased towards certain teams? What would they do if a guy like Ken Daneyko officiated a game between Florida and NYI and blew a call that benefited the Islanders, which meant the Devils got into the playoffs over the Panthers? People would go ape.
