Wow that's a huge % of the Kings wins.

Imagine how dark it would be if DL never pulled the trigger on the Carter trade.

I'd love for him to hit 50 next year, hopefully with a solid top 6 LW to balance out the line

Wasn't Carter at 24g at the 41 game mark? I think he was and that would put him right there for 50 if we had played a full season. I want to see him make 50 too, the guys is just so good. I can't see us winning the cup without having picked him up.

Balances out our top 6 by providing a truly dangerous scoring threat whenever he touches the puck.

Another great and huge deal for DL.

I can't believe Brownie has 18 goals this season. Good job Captain.

Amazing stat. I was hoping he would score in OT yesterday

I hope Kopi has a huge point game soon so he can get to a PPG pace to finish the season.

Agreed. He makes it looks so effortless.

Getting Richards and Carter were terrific choices by DL. The flip side of that (and since i despise Ed Snider, it makes it all the more enjoyable) is that the last 4 bad moves by the FLyers Richards, Carter, JVR and Bob. All 4 look to be in the playoffs and the FLyers are playing golf again.

DL unilike Big Ed, is smart enough to know about patience. Other than Gagne, no Flyer in the last dozen years or more has lasted longer than 6 years with the team.

It's almost as if moving from one blockbuster trade to the next is not a winning strategy.

Also, goalies are important and defensemen need time to develop

Kopitar has Getzlaf syndrome right now. He's always looking to pass right now, especially on the PP.

And people are burying what he gives them. I really don't mind the choices he's making with the puck at all.

I'm more suprised that Kopitar has zero PP goals. He has to lead the NHL in PP TOI without a goal.

Yes they are. He has 16 PP assists. Which means he has assisted on half of our PP goals. Would be nice for him to score but with what are PP% is and where it is ranked. Him scoring on it would just be a bonus at this point.

On a negative note. I'm not sold on Regehr (just yet). I've followed him closely and he has serious skating (pilon) issues IMO.

Very happy to have Greene back, it looks like he hasnt missed a beat (this last game).

Just went on Nationals curious about the Bandwagon thread and barely anyone is saying the kings would be their bandwagon team for the playoffs . How quickly times change lol.

Last year we were a sweetheart pick, but this year we're the devil

We don't need hfboards pulling for us ;)

Not sure if you guys have noticed, but they changed the glass protector on the penalty box side.

IMO, they made the right move. I like that style better. The less obstruction the better.

Since Regehr has come on board, Doughty has five goals and eight points in nine games.

He has and is playing allot better for certain (not that he was bad before only that he now has an SAH to be paired with it has given him the chance to play his style of game) but I can see some of what Frolov6 is saying. RR has lost a step in his skating. He seems to be adapting his game to meet his lack of footspeed/skating ability but it isn't as good as it used to be.

Happy to have him no doubt but do I want him back next season? That is a question that I am still asking myself. Sometimes I do and sometimes I wonder if he will continue to slow down.

Either way I am very happy we have him for the playoffs this season and think that it may be an issue of time with the club before he puts it all together and gets back to being the stud that he has been throughout his career for the most part.

Greener sure has just stepped in and looked great so far though and that is a really good thing to see.

without Doughty's rush last night, the game likely goes to the shootout.

DD took the game on his back, he was going to take the puck into the zone and no star was going to stop him. He made the gwg happen.

Who is this "Stamkos" guy I heard about a long time ago? or was it Stamos?

Exciting game. Poor officiating, Maybe next year the NHL could implement a 2 per game challenge on ref's calls, If the review goes against the challenger it's a two minute penalty for delay of game...

That might be the answer. I wish they could just use common sense when.using video replays. Any big moment in the game it could be used. Toronto can call down to the ice at any time to stop play.

I know old schoolers like the human element but when there is so much at stake the emphasis should be on getting the call right.
