On behalf of all CBJ fans... Go Canucks!

(please beat Detroit, thank you)

easier said then done for us

We have really struggled against the Wings this year

Absolutely. I certainly don't blame Barker for the collapse against Dallas, but he did play a big role in a couple of those goals (the look Edler gives him on the 2-1 goal is great).

reminded me of the look Roy had when Weise flubbed a glorious chance that Roy had given him

If the Canucks get blown out again, we can legitimately make an excuse. Hopefully their heads aren't in the clouds, if you catch my drift.

Hopefully, we can show some spark to our game and come out blazin'. It would be great to help put Detroit's playoff hopes up in smoke, if you catch my drift.

Would you dress Joslin over Barker?

That'd be a big yes. I thought that was the entire point of calling him up. There's just no possible way he could be as face-meltingly bad as Barker.

I think Chiggs is playing tonight.

SWEET. Best Canucks-related news I've heard in a long time. :handclap:

Honestly, no. I did see the two paprika or chili powder colored blocks in the spice blend and thought "uh oh". ;)

Yeah, it's been ugly. I mean really ugly. I'm talking Lindsay Lohan after a five day bender and being repeatedly bashed in the face with a shovel kind of ugly.

Here's to hoping, though.

Higgy! Anyone know if there's been confirmation on who's starting?

He's only played 7 games this season, is 37 years old, and is having some back/leg problems. He might end up playing a couple of games before retiring, but I think his career as an actual NHLer is done.

Apparently he's closing in on a return for this season and post season (if they get their **** together and make it)

It certainly didn't look good for him earlier this season when it was reported that the pain from his back had begun to spread to his legs. Hopefully he gets healthy cause he could put an end to Abdelkader/Cleary in the top 6. Also the extra SO wins he would have gotten us would be coming in pretty handy right about now.

I'm hoping for a good game tonight but in my gut I'm feeling a Nucks win simply because the Wings always manage to **** the bed in must win situations (see Wednesday's game in Calgary )

I just hope that the CBC can somehow throw a shout out to Datsyuk.
