Shots were about 80% low and easy saves, and the lovely Clode decides to keep rolling the 3rd and 4th line late in the game. He even went as far as to pull the goalie while the 3rd line was out pissing away the puck. I can't comprehend why you wouldn't move to your top two lines only with 2-3 minutes left to try and score. Nope, let's keep rolling those 4 lines!!!!!!!:rant::rant::rant::rant::rant:

I was going to mention that too. Glad I'm not the only left scratching my head with some of the game management decisions down a goal late in the 3rd. I know you have to spell your top players but would much rather take the timeout a little earlier and get Bergie's & Krejci's lines prepared to play some hard but much needed minutes.

Chia, is that you?

Nope, but not sure why people don't see how hard it is to make a move. How many trades have we had since the start of the season? I just doesn't happen til trade deadline or Jun pre draft. If he could make a deal that makes sense, I am sure he would.

Do you guys really feel this was an "entertaining" game? I thought it was about as sloppy as it gets. Outside of a few good hits and McQuaid's beatdown of Grant there were bad decisions by both teams in all 3 zones, Chara looked very slow (again) to the point that it seemed to affect Carlo's game. Pasta looks like something is ailing him because he has lost his jump. To me Saros was clearly the difference but outside of a few good saves, I thought most pucks were fairly easy stops for him.

This team needs a big time wake-up call. I know the upcoming expansion draft and the fact that a lot of teams are closely grouped together (not to mention the salary cap) is probably having an impact on trades but something needs to change and soon.

I'll take the minority opinion that I did not find it very entertaining. Nashville mustered two goals, both of which were more or less gifts thanks to some terrible decision making by the B's right in front of their own net. The Bruins controlled play for much of the game, but didn't generate many dangerous chances.

McQuaid's fight was great. I was stuck with the Nashville feed so the sound was down (too bad because it sounded like they were giving away tickets to see New Kids on the Block). It appeared as if after the second period McQuaid was letting Forsberg know his little 'raise the roof' showboating wasn't necessary. If so, good for him.

Must have missed that trade where Maroon brought McDavid with him.

I will give credit to Chiarelli in that he is good at filling out the roster. We'll see how they are when he has to start handing out contracts.

Goalie ****! That's not at all what I wanted to hear about Rask. If there's any player who needs executive function/frontal lobe/focus stuff on the ice, it's the goalie.

Googling Rask and concussion didn't pop up much, and I don't recall him being out with a concussion in the past few years. So that's at least good. And it wasn't a WOWIE hit like Liles'. And at least there's (apparently) not throat/neck stuff, like Lundqvist or Malcom Subban. But heck, long term I'd almost rather have something like that than have a concussion.

Nashville fan coming peace.

Just FYI, I saw numerous comments about a "backup goalie." Saros is the heir apparent to Rinne. We don't have a backup right now, we have a 1A and 1B, and to be honest, the 1B has been playing better.

Good luck guys.

Yea, Saros has been amazing.

The backup goalie thing is a joke around here because we always seem to make backup goalies look like all-stars.

Most of us know that Saros played great.

Are you Shackattack using a different account? In my innumerable years on the internet I've never encountered anyone that so consistently didn't know to space after a period, but on this board alone 2 people both type exactly this way with pretty much the exact same message.

I dunno, something seems fishy.

Of course not everyone know he is the best goalie in WJC and dominating the Finnish league as a teenager, has been terrific in AHL this season. He will be a future star some day. There're some so-called fans knew nothing about prospects, didn't know anything about other teams. Hell, whether they knew about their own team is questionable. Yet they are still able to running their mouths off shamelessly. Is that something new? Take what they said as a fart and move on

Good luck to you dude

I love fighting but that's the part I don't love. You see a guy with limited skill trying to make a name for himself on a new team playing tough guy. More often than not you get knocked the **** out and will be out of the lineup anyways. Even 54 seemed to be upset about it.

You could tell from period one the Bruins were gonna have a tough time scoring.

I'm sure maroon's totals have nothing to do with the fact that he is playing with mcjesus. Had we singed pat maroon...I am more than certain that he would be at half his offensive output. People do love their false equivalences.

He's got 9 goals playing with Draisaitil and 8 playing with McDavid.

Good game. Goes to OT if Carlo doesn't let Filip muscle past him.

Nash is a good face off guy.

Anton good hit.

Quaider, one mean Mofo.

Pasta ain't Ovie, yet.

Ovechkin's 6'3" 240,is always near the top in hits, goals and shots,a once in a lifetime forward. Be thrilled if Pasta can become a 35-40 goal,2 way guy.

Frustrating how we cant put up more goals.
This is definitely similar to the 2009-2010 season.

If we can just find a way to score, this team would be pretty damn good.
Thought we've been playing well lately.

Hope Tuukka is ok, and we get these next 2.

still shocked that this D isn`t the issue, didn`t occur to me that scoring would be the issue this season.

Didn`t see this team as a top 5 offense but this? This is nuts

Is anyone really surprised by this anymore? His game management has always been one of his biggest pitfalls. It's always easier being an armchair coach, as I will admit but there are many things that just seem way to obvious as head scratchers.

I'm still really annoyed that they keep losing games like this, I"m so glad I'm not on this team, I would've lost my **** a long time ago. These are the games that keep them from the playoffs. I feel like they've had at least 6-8 of them this year and they've lost them all.
