If Don Sweeney does not add help soon they are cooked. They need a lift and now

He needs to sell! But if anything I'm sure he'll **** away a couple of 2 rounders for a stepniak type rental (while still missing the playoffs and retaining clode) rinse repeat...

Hell baby
Thought they were the better team for the majority of the game, they just had two lapses that cost them big time

Hope Tuukka will be alright

Wow, that is awful support.

1.69 goals per game... That would mean an average 2.78 in the other 32 games? Still not great, especially for a league leading corsi team, but 1.69 is horrible.

Sell who? They are sitting in a playoff spot right now.The team in 1st in division Montreal they give them all they could handle the last 2 games head to head splitting them.I am dead serious. If Sweeney could add 2 legit players with one being a top 4 D man the other top 6 forward. They could be a serious threat. The longer he waits though the more games like this .Outplay a team lose by a goal. It's games at hand piling up that hurts.Team needs a push. This GM has done squat now near 3 years to help product on ice in serious way.If he wants to go through draft I am with u.sell.

Exactly! But the B,s have to stop giving goals to the opposition!
Both goals could have been avoided if the puck was just chipped to the corner.
Backup looked poised all night and played very well , coming in cold!
At least it was entertaining right up until DK did what DK does with a bad low % pass to end the game .

If, big if, Sweeney can add some pieces I think the Bruins can pull away from the bubble teams. Current roster just doesn't have enough.

They can't because teams in back have so many games in hand

Good Corsi night

Was Chiller hurt? Cause the D looked slow and got exposed. Another bad loss to an injured, no playoff team.

Well peeps, there is good news after all. Due to some Preds promotions, I can use their app to get a free Dunkin coffee and a free Big Mac tomorrow.

Which would be cool if I liked either coffee or Big Macs. :help:

The disparity in the # of games played by the Bruins vs most of the rest of the conference is outrageous.

Cam" hey Donny, we're still in 2nd place in the Division , your "stay the course" approach is paying dividends."

Do you guys really feel this was an "entertaining" game? I thought it was about as sloppy as it gets. Outside of a few good hits and McQuaid's beatdown of Grant there were bad decisions by both teams in all 3 zones, Chara looked very slow (again) to the point that it seemed to affect Carlo's game. Pasta looks like something is ailing him because he has lost his jump. To me Saros was clearly the difference but outside of a few good saves, I thought most pucks were fairly easy stops for him.

This team needs a big time wake-up call. I know the upcoming expansion draft and the fact that a lot of teams are closely grouped together (not to mention the salary cap) is probably having an impact on trades but something needs to change and soon.

Shots were about 80% low and easy saves, and the lovely Clode decides to keep rolling the 3rd and 4th line late in the game. He even went as far as to pull the goalie while the 3rd line was out pissing away the puck. I can't comprehend why you wouldn't move to your top two lines only with 2-3 minutes left to try and score. Nope, let's keep rolling those 4 lines!!!!!!!:rant::rant::rant::rant::rant:
